About J. Elliott
Since fronting acclaimed Indianapolis-based rock outfit Stereo Deluxe, J. Elliott has become known for his riveting and dynamic solo live performances, both with just acoustic guitar and full band. With the release of his new single, “How To Be A Man”, he is again revealing to the world his ability to deftly create smart, insightful songs about his life and observations… while growing a devoted audience that is fully aware of how special and unique his voice and songs truly are.

About Mary Jo Baylsiss
Mary Jo Bayliss is a welder who evolved into a knitter, a public artist who fell in love with community art. She’s inspired by the beauty found in urban environments and garments and is seeking to keep old crafts alive by giving them relevance to contemporary life.

The project:
Learn about Quick Fair Isle knitting history, dip into graffiti, and learn how the two relate. Baylsiss will teach interested participants basic knitting as they add to a collective piece on-site. If you don’t want to knit, that’s okay! Draw on a wall of knitting motifs created and inspired by graffiti. These will also be part of an installation when the piece is complete.
