Visit SPARK on Saturday, June 20 from noon to 2 p.m. to create your own charming accessory in this hands-on workshop inspired by traditional Chinese knotting! Guests will learn how to make two beginner-friendly designs – the elegant Butterfly Knot and the classic Lucky Knot.
The Chinese Lucky knot is a symbol of good fortune, prosperity, and protection. Traditionally crafted from a single continuous thread, it represents unity, harmony, and the idea that good luck is never-ending.
Once completed, you can take your handmade knots home and use them to decorate everyday items like lip balms, keys, or water bottles. Feel free to bring your own lip balm – small holes can be added on-site so you can easily attach your knot for a personalized touch. This activity is suited for ages 7 and up.
