Giselle is a Venezuelan-born artist based in Indianapolis who has been teaching music, dance, and visual arts for over 40 years. Her bilingual programs bring people together through creativity, movement, and expression.

“What Nature Brings” is a 15-minute puppet show inspired by Indiana folklore and intergenerational wisdom, exploring how our relationship with the Earth is always evolving. Performances happen at 5 p.m. and 6 p.m.

Free and family-friendly — don’t miss this whimsical performance!

“What Nature Brings” was written by Sylvia Thomas (@SheIsSylvia) with audio by Clockwork Janz (@ClockworkMakesMusic). It will be brought to life at SPARK by Clockwork and Giselle Trujillo (@Giselle_Trujillo_imhof). 🎭

Join SPARK Artist-in-Residence Danny Marquis (@marquistadorr) for a collaborative performance of Terry Riley’s “In C” — now happening on Sunday, Sept. 28 at 4 p.m. (rescheduled from Sept. 13)! 🌟🎶

This free event welcomes everyone — whether you’re a musician of any level who wants to join in (arrive by 3:30 p.m. with your instrument) or someone who simply wants to enjoy the joyful, ever-shifting sounds from the audience. Come be part of this special celebration on Monument Circle and help us close out SPARK 2025!

SPARK on the Circle is a partnership between @bigcarpix, @downtownindy, and @indy_dmd. With SPARK, the artist-led nonprofit Big Car Collaborative teams up with Indianapolis-based artists of all genres to spark creativity, connect people, provide a peaceful and restorative place, and honor the history and civic importance of Monument Circle.

Celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month at SPARK on the Circle with Baile Monumental on Sunday, Sept. 21 from 3 to 8 p.m.! 💃🕺

Join us for this dance event filled with music ranging from cumbia, bachata, salsa, reggaeton and many more latin music styles. This event will feature DJs Eddie Calaca, Dimension 2000, Sonido Campesino, DJ Rumba, and World Famous LaMarr Davis. 🎧🎶

In addition, there will be games and creative activities for visitors of all ages, so make sure to bring your family and friends! 🌟

This event is a collaboration between Arte Mexicano en Indiana and SPARK. SPARK on the Circle is made possible by Big Car Collaborative in partnership with Downtown Indy, Inc. and the City of Indianapolis Department of Metropolitan Development, in cooperation with the Indiana War Memorials Commission.
