All People Yoga Center Yoga (Yoga for ALL People)
Whether you’re new to yoga or you’re a long-time practitioner, bring a mat and take a break for a free, 45-minute class each "Mellow Monday" at Noon. All People Yoga Center instructors will lead a class including gentle, basic movement and centering, calming breathing techniques to rejuvenate your heart, body and mind. Come have a chat with this week's expert, Dr. Jason M. Kelly. He can tell you all about the Age of the Anthropocene, a term used to denote the present time interval, in which many geologically significant conditions and processes are profoundly altered by human activities. SPARK hosted over 10,000 visitors who made 2,000 Taylor Swift-themed postcards created by local artists that will be mailed around the world for free, made hundreds of bracelets, got their faces painted, participated in Mary Jo Bayliss’ @andknits’s collaborative art project, enjoyed local music, and more all weekend long.
