SPARK Sound Concert

September 13 @ 2:00 pm - 3:00 pm

“Spark Sounds”, an evolving audio installation and performance series
designed for the Spark community space. Using an on-site Handy Recorder, ambient sounds
and spontaneous audio moments from the space will be captured, mixed with music, and
transformed into dynamic backing tracks played during Spark. The project culminates in a live,
collaborative community concert on Saturday, September 13, with a
bring-your-own-instrument, all-are-welcome invitation to perform.

Spark Sounds draws inspiration from the everyday rhythms of public space—footsteps, laughter,
passing conversation—and treats them as legitimate musical seeds. By capturing and integrating
these “Spark Sounds” into ambient tracks and public announcements, the project aims to create
a sense of living atmosphere, where art is being made continuously by the community, often
without them realizing it.

This is also a launchpad for deeper community engagement through participatory art. The
culminating concert invites anyone—musician or not—to join in making music together. The
