About:
Rodrigo was born in the city of Villavicencio, Colombia and began playing the harp at the age of 12. It is one of the main instruments in the musical genre of llanero folklore (llanera music), standing out in accompaniment and among various highly experienced llanera musicians. The harp is an acoustic instrument composed of 32 strings. Llanera music transcends and covers the vast Venezuelan geography and parts of the Colombian plains. Traditionally, it is comprised of the harp, bandola, maracas, the cuatro, and the bass.

SPARK hosted over 10,000 visitors who made 2,000 Taylor Swift-themed postcards created by local artists that will be mailed around the world for free, made hundreds of bracelets, got their faces painted, participated in Mary Jo Bayliss’ @andknits’s collaborative art project, enjoyed local music, and more all weekend long.
