DESCRIPTION:Winter is coming\, make your own dainty hankie! Artists Jane Sun Kim and Yeabsera Tabb worked together to research connective patterns\, created a woodblock and will demonstrate the printmaking process on vintage hankies.\nYeabsera Tabb is an interdisciplinary visual artist with a focus in printmaking and textiles. Her work explores the intersectionalities and liminal space contained within one’s personal identity.\nYeabsera was born in Addis Ababa\, Ethiopia and came to America at the age of 13. Her work addresses her lived experience inhabiting multiple identities both as a Black woman in America and as an immigrant.\n\nFree!!\n\nCircle SPARK brings you activities like games\, live music\, artmaking\, and socializing in a comfortable place. It is located on Monument Circle in the southwest quad. Hours: Mondays – Thursdays 11 am to 2 pm | Wednesdays 5-9 pm | and Fridays 11 am to 9 pm. SPARK is a project of Big Car\, Downtown Indy\, and the City of Indianapolis — with support from the Capital Improvement Board and the Indiana War Memorials Commission.\n
