DESCRIPTION:Learn to scale a drawing:\nOn September 26\, artist Kassie Woodworth will host an interactive art activity on Monument\nCircle that invites participants to explore the process of scaling a drawing from paper to a larger\nformat. Each participant will receive a sheet of paper to create their own sketch. Using the\ntraditional grid method—commonly used by muralists and large-scale artists—they will then\ntransfer their design onto the ground with chalk\, creating a larger version of their artwork. This\nactivity offers a hands-on introduction to a classic artist’s tool while encouraging creativity and\nplayful experimentation in a public space. \nKassie Woodworth (she/her) is a local visual artist working in drawing and sculpture.
