SUMMARY:No More No Place
DESCRIPTION:Inspired by the acclaimed 60×60 series\, No More No Place is a celebration of modern sound and video art presented as a stylistic and aesthetic collage. A play on “India-No-Place” (a derogatory and dated nickname for Indianapolis)\, the event’s title reclaims the phrase while simultaneously highlighting the city’s vibrant creative community. \nCurated by Indianapolis multimedia artist Jordan Munson\, No More No Place combines 2-minute recorded audio works with eclectic video art. These pairings are presented back-to-back in a monumental immersive environment\, utilizing the Circle’s state-of-the art sound and projection system. \nShowcasing over 50 of Indy’s creative professionals\, this event provides a rare opportunity to experience works from a diverse group of sound and video artists\, all in the span of 60 minutes. \nMUSIC//VIDEO PAIRINGS:  \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nMorning Focus – Jessica Dunn* \n\n\nNaomi – Mina Keohane \n\n\nUnder Flow – Katelyn Calhoun \n\n\nQueen of Peace – Pariah Peels \n\n\nNeil Cunningham (Bad Boys of AV) \n\n\nTwo Minutes in the Key of C – Airport People \n\n\nJoe Frank \n\n\nTake – David “Moose” Adamson \n\n\nREFRAINs – Ben Martinkus \n\n\nCrescendo ‘22 – Greg O’Neill \n\n\nBlack Paint – Bayonet Media \n\n\nTo Vepó Mood – Sharlene Birdsong \n\n\n1969 Love – Will Wertz \n\n\nOolitic Monument – Landon Caldwell \n\n\nA Black Woman – Deonna Weatherly \n\n\nCompass – Rob Funkhouser \n\n\nSpace Age – Matt Panfil \n\n\nMay 2\, 2022 – Deantoni Parks \n\n\nJapan in Between – Daniel Arthur Jacobson \n\n\nHereafter – Zakè & Ossa \n\n\nRodeo – Bayonet Media \n\n\nIn the Quiet Shadows – Hauntron \n\n\nStar Factory – Jim Kincaid (Bad Boys of AV) \n\n\nWithin the Tornado Itself – Natasha Richardson O’Neill \n\n\nAndrew Quinn \n\n\nI Wonder if it Remembers Me – Amanda Gardier \n\n\nLast Days of Summer – Alex Rodgers \n\n\nNo Idea – Black Code\nNate Gonzalez (Bad Boys of AV) \n\n\n\n\nLast Walls of Jericho – Jared Thompson\n5 Hours to Georgia – LaKesha Lorene \n\n\n\n\nDanios – Luke Garrigus\nCast Out – Will Wertz \n\n\n\n\nUnder the Tulip Tree – Eric Salazar\nIndiana Corn Harvest – Skyler Lawson \n\n\n\n\nKing Lear – Oreo Jones\nCosmogenesis – Matt Panfil \n\n\n\n\nChecked In – Hope Leonard\nNate Gonzalez (Bad Boys of AV) \n\n\n\n\nOverworked – Jordan Munson* \n\n\nNatural Pattern – Mark Tester\nCoextensive – Carlie Foreman \n\n\n\n\nSnow on Snow – Hanna Benn\nJordan Munson \n\n\n\n\nPowerful Dreamer – Terpene Dream\nIsolation – Devin O’Connell & Charlee Black \n\n\n\n\nSweet Tooth – Charlie Ballantine\nFiona’s Purple Heart Flower Fountain – Jim Kincaid (Bad Boys of AV) \n\n\n\n\nSour Taste – KO\nJessica Dunn \n\n\n\n\nRework of Noctilucent by Rodrigo Stradiotto & Karen Vogt – Ossa\nJordan Munson \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n=====\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nPresented by Big Car Collaborative for SPARK on the Circle 2022 \n\n\nPartnering Sponsors:\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nFREE.
